There has been a marked shift in Tube Manufacturing with a growing demand for ERW Tubes of larger diameters and sections.
While large diameter tubes & sections have been produced since decades – cutting such tubes at a reasonable speed and without
burr has long remained a challenge and a major bottleneck in the manufacturing process (more particularly for square and sections).
Transportation of such tubes to offline/online End Facing/Bevelling Machines is a complex, time & capital intensive process and also
requires a lot of space in the manufacturing unit.
Enter Milling Saws – with a dynamic blade movement mechanism, these cut-offs are able to deliver burr free cutting of large diameter
tubes in a time and cost efficient manner.
2 Blades commence cutting while moving towards the tube on either side – one blade moving clockwise along the periphery of the tube
and the other anti-clock wise thereby completing the cut efficiently.
